Florentino González Vales

Florentino González was 77-73 with 13 saves and a 2.20 ERA in nine seasons in Cuba. Pitching at the height of a pitcher's era, he was never chosen for the Cuban national team. He allowed a .230 career average in 216 games (141 starts). On April 4, 1968, the Camagüey hurler no-hit Matanzas in a 1-0 win. It was the eight no-hitter of the year, almost the end of Cuba's year of the no-hitter (9 no-hitters altogether). His brother Raúl González also pitched in Cuba.
