President Carter met w/ Manny Mota on Oct. 9, 1979.

She emailed three contact sheets of their meeting, Manny meets with the President and poses for various photos. (Carter also met with representatives from the YKK Zipper Company around that time, they are also included in the sheets!).

I forgot to ask if they were produced by an official White House photographer (I assume they might be.) In any case, I'll post this one here under a fair use image; this is an extremely small photo, used for discussion in the article about Manny Mota. This should not limit the Jimmy Carter Library's ability to sell the photo (indeed, the Library will provide a hi-res copy of any photo [We can email you 300 dpi 8x10, the fee is $25.50 each.]). Low res image, I selected one where Carter was smiling and picks up a child (Manny's son?)
