Burnham is an Ohio native and Reserve Sailor back from Afghanistan and participates in the Navy’s commemoration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 in Cleveland. The celebration coincides with Cleveland Navy Week, one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012. The week-long event commemorates the Bicentennial of the War of 1812, hosting service members from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy. The other catcher on the Indians roster is Carlos Santana, who has a different skin tone than this gentleman).
