Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Felix Tejada represented the Dominican Republic in the 1992 Olympics. At age 16, he was the youngest man ever on an Olympic baseball roster. He did very well, hitting .381/.409/.429 with 3 runs and one RBI in 7 games. As the primary Dominican catcher, he fielded only .929 and allowed 7 steals in 8 tries, though. In the 1994 Baseball World Cup, he was 4 for 12 with a double and a walk, playing error-free ball, while splitting catching with Ernesto Valera.
