Biographical Information[edit]

Félix Martínez was a middle infielder in Puerto Rico. He split short with Jesús Hevia for the Puerto Rican national team when they won Gold at the 2002 Central American and Caribbean Games, their first Gold in baseball at the Central American and Caribbean Games in decades. In the 2005 Baseball World Cup, he was 2 for 6 with a walk, two runs and a RBI, handling 10 chances error-free as the backup at short to major leaguer Luis Figueroa.
