Biographical Information[edit]

Farmer Ray ranks fairly high on the list of pitchers with the most innings pitched but without any wild pitches. Ray hit seven batters, but threw no wild pitches.

None of the starting rotation for the St. Louis Browns of 1910 had a winning record, as the team went 47-107.

Ray is the last of five major leaguers who are remembered with the first name "Farmer".
