Federación Mundial de Béisbol Amateur
(Redirected from FEMBA)
The Federación Mundial de Béisbol Amateur existed briefly as a rival to the decades-old Federación Internacional de Béisbol Amateur. It was formed in 1973 by 24 nations. FEMBA sponsored a few events - the 1973 Intercontinental Cup, a 1973 Amateur World Series, the 1974 Amateur World Series and the 1975 Intercontinental Cup. It then resolved its conflict with FIBA, forming the International Amateur Baseball Association.
