Biographical Information[edit]
Fábio Takara pitched for the Brazilian national team in the 1995 Pan American Games and 1995 Intercontinental Cup. In the latter event, he allowed four hits and four walks in seven innings, giving up four runs and striking out seven in a mercy rule win over Spain. Kleber Ojima had Brazil's only other win in the Cup. He also played in the 1999 Pan American Games.
