Exposition Park

Exposition Park was the home of the Players League's Pittsburgh Burghers in 1890, the National League's Pittsburgh Pirates from 1891 to 1908, and the Federal League's Pittsburgh Rebels in 1914 and 1915.

It is famous for a flood in 1902 due to its bordering of the Allegheny River; on that July 4, the water was a foot deep in the outfield and reached within 20 feet of second base.

The park was used as a site in the first World Series in 1903, just missing out on hosting the first Series game ever.

The size of the park is unknown but it was a place where homers went to die - no ball ever went over the left or center field fences, and just 11 homers were hit over the right field wall.
