Biographical Information[edit]
Evan Berliner played baseball at Elmhurst University and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness. He next went to graduate school at Ottawa University and earned a MBA degree in 2019.
While at Ottawa, Berliner also started his coaching career as a graduate assistant coach for the Braves. He stayed there through the 2019 season before becoming an assistant coach at Hillsdale College during the 2020-2021 seasons. In addition to coaching, Berliner was named the Chargers' Director of Player Development and Operations in April 2020. Berliner moved up to Division I coaching when he took a volunteer assistant coach position with the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits. He was promoted to a full-time assistant coaching role in June, 2023.
The Milwaukee Brewers hired Berliner in 2024 to work as a hitting coach for the ACL Brewers.
