Estebán Lombillo
Estebán Lombillo Peña (The Professor)
Estebán Lombillo hit .231 in two seasons in the Cuban Serie Nacional. He coached for Cuba in the 2006 Intercontinental Cup. He later became a manager, guiding the Cuban team to a Bronze Medal in the 2008 World Junior Championship. In the 2008-2009 season, he managed La Habana to the title and was named Manager of the Year. He managed the Cuban national team to second place in the 2009 Baseball World Cup. When La Habana was split in two after the 2010-2011 season, Lombillo was appointed manager of the new Artemisa club. The team was 36-60 in 2011-2012 and 15-30 and last place in 2012-2013 before being removed. In 2014-2015, he took over managerial duties of a third team, Camagüey. He only lasted one year there, going 16-29.
