Biographical Information[edit]
Erv Lange had his one season in the sun with the Chicago Chi-Feds of the 1914 Federal League, going 12-11 with an ERA of 2.23. His ERA was 5th in the league. The Whales, managed by Joe Tinker, finished 2nd in the league. He was tied for second on the team in wins, with Claude Hendrix the leader with 29 wins.
