Ernie May
Biographical Information[edit]
Ernie May has been a college coach.
May was a P-1B at Keene State. He was general manager of the 1990 Pittsfield Mets and worked in public relations for the Atlanta Braves and CNN. He coached Thayer High School in 1991-1992 and was pitching coach for Springfield College (1993), Wofford College (1994) and the University of Massachusetts (1995). He was head coach of Wofford from 1996-1999. He then spent 11 years as an assistant at UMass and 2012-2013 at Trinity College. May returned to the head coaching ranks with Northland College in 2014-2015. He was then an assistant at Harvard University in 2016. He then became head coach at Dean College in 2017 as that school was transitioning from the junior college ranks to NCAA division III. He remained through 2023.
