Biographical Information

Ernie Cecaci served in the US Army during the Korean War. He coached baseball, football, basketball and wrestling and taught physical education at St. Mary's College High School and Mt. Diablo High School. He was wrestling coach at Diablo Valley College from 1962-1967 then was head baseball coach from 1968-1986 (going 337-313) and guiding the team to the 1977 CCCAA Baseball Championship title (their only one as of 2021). He also was head women's volleyball coach at DVC and athletic director. He is a member of several Halls of Fame.
