Biographical Information[edit]
Ernie Bolton played for Victoria in six Claxton Shield series. He had a career 1.12 ERA in 80 IP and threw a no-hitter in 1959; he also hit .308 and fielded .966. He was MVP of the Victorian Baseball Association in 1957. In 1959, he fanned 178 batters in 21 games and led his team in average. He was named to the Claxton Shield Diamond Anniversary All-Star team. In 2016, he was voted into the Baseball Australia Hall of Fame.
