Biographical Information

Ernest Waxham was a pre-MLB player for the Rockford Forest Citys during the game's amateur era. He grew up in the town of LaPorte, Indiana but moved to Rockford where he got his gig with the Forest City club. He and his wife Alice had a son named Edwin who was born in 1875. Ernest later moved to Los Angeles, CA where he died at age 80.
