Biographical Information[edit]
Erk Russell was a college coach.
Russell played baseball, basketball, football and tennis at Auburn. He returned to coach baseball from 1959-1962, also serving as assistant football coach. He coached one future major leaguer, Alan Koch. He later was a long-time football coach, spending 17 years as a Georgia assistant and winning one title and then going 83-22-1 and winning three Division I-AA titles at Georgia Southern.
