Biographical Information

Erick Wright has been a college coach.

He was 2-1 with a 5.12 ERA for the 1994 Regina Cyclones. He was a graduate assistant at the University of Texas Pan American then had stints as an assistant at Coffeyville Community College and Allen County Community College (1997-2001). He was head coach of Dodge City Community College in 2002-2004, then was assistant at New Caney High School (2005-2006). He was an associate scout for the Colorado Rockies in 2006-2007 then was assistant at New Mexico Military Institute for a year. In 2008, he became an assistant at North Central Texas College and was promoted to head coach in 2015. He held that role through 2023, when he moved to Luna Community College.
