Biographical Information[edit]

Eric Myers played in the Oakland Athletics in 1990 and 1991 after being drafted by the club in the 13th round of the 1990 amateur draft.

With the Southern Oregon A's in 1991, he had a 2.93 ERA in 24 relief appearances, averaging more than a strikeout per inning. In 1992, his mark rose to 4.60 in 105 2/3 innings for the Madison Muskies. He later was head coach of Seminole State College from 2002-2006, taking them to the 2004 NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series, where they finished third.

He died at 37 years old of brain cancer.
