Biographical Information[edit]

Eric Cirella has been a college coach, as was his father Steve Cirella.

Eric Cirella led NCAA Division III in average (.504) and walks (49) as a senior. His .447 career average was 18th in Division III history. He was All-Commonwealth Coast Conference all four years. He was 1 for 4 with a run as a backup right fielder for the 2006 New Haven County Cutters, his only action as a pro. He was assistant coach at his alma mater in 2006 then was assistant coach at the University of Rhode Island from 2007-2013. In 2014, he succeeded his father at the reins of Salve Regina.
