Enterprise of Rahway

From BR Bullpen

The Enterprise of Rahway were a New Jersey-based team that played in the National Association of Base Ball Players in the late 1850s and early 1860s. They played their home games in Rahway, NJ. They gained a bit of notability after they played a baseball game on ice on December 24, 1859. They supposedly didn't even wear ice skates during this game, though the Brooklyn Atlantics played a game on ice with skates in 1861.
