Biographical Information

Enrike Sevilya is a Cuban-Russian pitcher. He was one of 30 international players signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2022. His father was born in Cuba and worked as a chef, traveling the world, and met his wife in Russia where Enrike was born. The family moved to Spain for some time. His father was a big baseball fan and taught him how to play. Enrike played in baseball tournaments throughout Europe, pitching against teams in England and other various countries. He was signed to the Dodgers by scout Nestor Perez Sr. on January 15, 2022.

He was 0-2 with a 4.11 ERA in 12 games for the 2022 DSL Dodgers Bautista with 17 BB in 15 1/3 IP. He fell to a 10.80 ERA and 4.20 WHIP in 4 games for the 2023 DSL Dodgers Mega. He suffered an injury and was placed on the 60-day injured list in June. After performing poorly, he was released by the Dodgers in September.
