Biographical Information[edit]
Eli Villalobos was a catcher and first baseman in high school and junior college before being turned into a relief pitcher while at California State University, Long Beach. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 14th round of the 2018 amateur draft after his junior season for the Dirtbags.
His brother Dylan pitched for Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo from 2017 to 2022, but did not turn pro.
