Biographical Information

Eiji Hamanaka pitched one season for the Daiei Hawks. After appearing for Tokai Rika in the industrial leagues, Daiei signed him in 1989. He was 1-4 with a 6.80 ERA, .319 opponent average and 21 walks in 46 1/3 IP in 1990, his only season for the Hawks. He served up 14 gopher balls in his brief career. He wore number 25.
