Biographical Information

Eduy Mosqueda pitched for the Rojos de Candelaria in the Spanish Division de Honor. He pitched for the Spanish national team in the 1998 Baseball World Cup. He was 0-1 with a 12.10 ERA and .500 opponent average in 9 2/3 IP. He took the loss against José Ibar and the champion Cubans. In the 1999 European Championship, he allowed six hits, five walks and five runs in 4 1/3 IP while throwing five wild pitches and striking out one. Only Jaime Lopez had a higher ERA for Spain.
