Edgar Perez was a minor league infielder in the early 1980s with the Chicago White Sox and Seattle Mariners organizations.
Edgar later has also help found a professional baseball league in his home country of Colombia. Edgar Perez today (2008-2010) is managing an Elite- 12 and Under traveling baseball team out of Miami Lakes Florida. Team Renteria. Team Renteria is sponsored by Edgar and Edison Renteria and have won several Local and National Youth Tournaments.
