Biographical Information[edit]
Eddie (Buddy) Solomon appeared in one game of the 1974 NLCS for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He pitched the last 2 innings in a 7-0 loss against the Pittsburgh Pirates in Game 3. He gave up 2 hits, walked 1 and struck out 1. The Dodgers won the series, 3 games to 1. Solomon did not appear in the World Series, which the Dodgers lost to the Oakland Athletics.
After his playing career ended, he worked as a car salesman. He died in an automobile accident at age 34.
