Biographical Information[edit]
Eddie Chiles was the owner of the Texas Rangers from 1980 to 1989. In Dallas, TX, he was most famous for bumper stickers he spawned by his now-forgotten political comments on radio: "My name is Eddie Chiles, and I'm mad." The stickers which said: "I'm mad too, Eddie" were mocked by their rock-and-roll counterpart stickers: "I'm mad too, Ozzie" which eventually became even more popular.
