Biographical Information[edit]
Eddie Bacon was a pitcher who could hit some. He appeared as a pitcher in one game for the Philadelphia Athletics in 1917, going six innings, and was in four games that season as a hitter, hitting .500 (3-for-6). In the minors he played eight seasons, winning 50 games and hitting .274.
