Eddi Candelario pitched in the minor leagues and the CPBL.

Candelario began his professional career with the Chicago White Sox, spending his first two seasons in the Dominican Summer League. he went 2-7 with a 5.31 ERA for the Bristol White Sox in 2000. He was 8-6 with a 3.06 ERA for the Winston-Salem Warthogs in 2001, and he also pitched 7 games with a 3.71 ERA for the Birmingham Barons. His 12 wins were 5th in the Pale Hose chain (between Corwin Malone and Geronimo Mendoza) and his 147 K were third (trailing Malone and Dennis Ulacia). Candelario was 6-2 with a 3.48 ERA in Birmingham in 2002, and he went 1-5 with a 5.85 ERA for the AAA Charlotte Knights.

The White Sox then traded him with Antonio Ozuna for Orlando Hernández after the 2002 season, and he was 8-5 with a 4.52 ERA for the Trenton Thunder in 2003. Candelario went to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2004, and he went 0-3 with a 7.36 ERA for the Reading Phillies. He moved to the Pittsburgh Pirates system in the middle of the season, and he was 0-1 with a 4.84 ERA for the Altoona Curve. Candelario was 3-4 with a 3.12 ERA in Altoona in 2005, then he signed with the Brother Elephants of Taiwan in July. He had a 4-3 record with a 2.93 ERA. Candelario’s last season as professional player was 2010, and he went 1-4 with a 5-40 ERA for the Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo.
