Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Ed Sedar was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the sixth round of the 1981 amateur draft and played eight seasons but only made it to the AA level.
After retiring as a player, he was the Milwaukee Brewers minor league outfield and baserunning coordinator from 1992 to 2006 and the Minor league Field Coordinator from 2002 to 2006. In addition, he managed the Ogden Raptors from 1998 to 2001 and the Helena Brewers in 2003 and again in 2005 and 2006. In 2007, he was promoted to the Brewers first base coach and occupied the position until the end of the 2020 season.
