Biographical Information

Ed Kahovec has been a college coach.

Kahovec hit .318 as a sophomore shortstop at Rochester, .331 as a junior and .372 as a senior. He made All-Liberty League first-team once and second-team twice. In 2008, he hit .385/.481/.521 with 20 runs in 18 games for the Erbach Grasshoppers in the German minors, Bundesliga level 2. He then returned to the US to coach for Rochester from 2010-2012. Bard College then hired him as head coach of their team, the first team the school was sponsoring baseball in 76 years.

Kahovec resigned in August 2016 to become an assistant coach at College of the Holy Cross. After two years as assistant, they promoted him to head coach.
