Biographical Information[edit]

Earl Hamman peaked at AA.

Hamman began his career with the 1949 Owensboro Oilers, hitting .240/?/.273 in 48 games. In 1950, he batted .285/?/.340 in 76 contests for the Oilers. He did not play from 1951-1953. With the 1954 Temple Eagles, he hit .303/?/.424 with 36 doubles. He tied for 6th in the Big State League in doubles and ranked 9th in hits (174). He hit .283/?/.373 for the Burlington Bees. In his final campaign, 1956, he appeared for the Corpus Christi Clippers (.252/?/.326 in 85 G) and the Shreveport Sports (.235/.307/.309 in 39 G). He hit .278 and slugged .364 in 514 minor league games.
