Biographical Information[edit]
Earl Cummings graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1909. His minor league career consisted of stints with the Fargo Browns (1908), Brandon Angels (1909), Duluth White Sox (1910), and La Crosse Outcasts (1911).
Cummings also played semiprofessional baseball, football, and ice hockey.
He moved from Duluth to Saskatchewan in 1911. He served in the Canadian Expeditionary Force in World War I.
He died from bronchopneumonia, caused by his military service.
His brother, Al Cummings, played baseball for the University of Wisconsin and in the minor leagues.
