Biographical Information

Dylan Hoffman pitched in the minors then was a college coach. He is the son of Glenn Hoffman and nephew of Trevor Hoffman.

He competed in baseball, basketball, volleyball and track in high school. He spent a year at Bristol University then was at Hope International for two years, going 0-2. In 2019, he transferred to Waldorf and had a 4-3, 6.63 record. The San Diego Padres took him in the 39th round of the 2019 amateur draft, the last year the draft had so many rounds.

Hoffman was 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA in six games for the AZL Padres 1 that summer. He became head coach of Westcliff University for 2024.
