Dylan Haynes has played for South Africa in several competitions. He was on South Africa's roster in the 2006 World Baseball Classic but did not get into a game. In the 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament, he went 0 for 4 with a walk and a run, appearing twice as a pinch-runner and once in right field. He is on South Africa's provisional roster for the 2009 World Baseball Classic.
