Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Dylan Dreiling was named the winner of the College World Series Most Outstanding Player Award after leading the University of Tennessee to its first ever title in the 2024 College World Series. The Volunteers defeated Texas A&M University in three games in the finals. Dreiling was a sophomore at the time, having hit .336 in 70 games with 22 homers and 72 RBIs during the regular season. He hit a homer in all three games of the finals, including crucial two-run blasts in the last two games, both Tennessee wins. He batted .541 with 11 RBIs during the tournament.
