Biographical Information[edit]
Dwight Aden is a permanent member of the Spokane Indians Rim of Honor. He spent his entire career (1937-1942) with the Indians, save for his first year, when he was with the Lewiston Broncs. The center fielder was regarded as a very good fielder and hit over .300 in his first four seasons. His best season was 1939 when he hit .340/?/.437. Not a power hitter, his season high in home runs was 2 (1940), which accounts for half of his career total. He finished his career with numbers of .309/?/.379. The league in which he played, the Western International League, did not hold any games from 1943 through the duration of World War II. Aden served in the United States Navy during the War.
