Biographical Information

Schirick's only appearance in the ML was as a pinch hitter for the St. Louis Browns on September 17, 1914. He walked and stole two bases.

His obituary in the November 30, 1968, The Sporting News, states that he left baseball in 1915 to become a lawyer. Subsequently Schirick was appointed in 1936 as a justice of the New York State Supreme Court where he served until his retirement in 1960.
