Biographical Information[edit]
Drummond Brown was a dead-ball era catcher. He played briefly with the 1913 Boston Braves before ignoring the reserve clause of his contract and jumping to the Federal League. He played in 1914 and 1915 as a reserve catcher for the Kansas City Packers. After the breakup of the Federal League, Brown became a police officer in Kansas City. He committed suicide by shooting himself on his farm in 1927.
