Biographical Information[edit]
Drew Bignall was the youngest player on the British national team in the 2003 European Championship, going 5 for 20 at the plate. By the 2005 European Championship, he was primarily a pitcher, going 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA, beating Croatia and losing to the Netherlands. For Trinity University, he had a 2-4, 4.93 record in 2007 and a 6.89 ERA in 2008 as a senior. He was put on Britain's preliminary 40-man roster for the 2009 Baseball World Cup. He qualifies for Great Britain via his father who was born in England.
