Doug Greenslate was assistant coach at Aquinas College for 16 years before becoming head coach. In 19 seasons, he had a 452-434 record and took Aquinas to its first NAIA College World Series appearance in 2005 before retiring at the end of the 2019 campaign.
As a pitcher, Greenslate twice won the National Baseball Congress with the Grand Rapids Sullivans.
