Dottie Stolze played in the All American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1946 to 1952 and was one of the league's top utility players. She had her best season in 1950 with the Peoria Redwings, hitting .243. Overall, during her career, she hit .219 in 705 games.
Later in life, Stolze was a physical education teacher and softball coach. She also was a longtime Oakland A's fan in her later years.
