Pitcher Dorothy Mueller played six seasons from 1947 to 1949 in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, spending her first three with the Peoria Redwings and the next three with the South Bend Blue Sox. As a rookie, she won 21 games and was an All-Star, and the next year, she went 21-9 and threw a no-hitter. Overall, she posted a 92-63 record and a 1.80 ERA in 186 games.
