Biographical Information

Dong-yeop Kim was a manager in the early years of the Korea Baseball Organization. He had been recruited as the first manager of the Haitai Tigers in 1982 but withdrew before the season began. He took over the reigns of the MBC Blue Dragons in May 1983 and took them to the 1983 Korean Series but they were swept and he was out of a job at year's end. He returned to manage MBC from June 1985 until July 1987.
