Biographical Information[edit]
Donegal Fergus has been a college coach.
Fergus was assistant coach at Lower Columbia Community College from 2001-2005 then was head coach of Tacoma Community College (125-100 from 2006-2010). In 2011-2012, he was assistant at Seattle University. In 2013, he returned to Lower Columbia as head coach. He then moved to the University of Washington as hitting coach in 2014-2018. Fergus was an assistant at University of California, Santa Barbara in 2019. He was minor league hitting coordinator for the Minnesota Twins in 2020-2021, then returned to UCSB as associate head coach. He became head coach of Loyola Marymount University for 2024.
Fergus was also head coach for Baseball Ireland from 2018 through 2023, including the 2019 B-Level European Championship. [1].
