Biographical Information[edit]
Donald Spencer grew up in Ohio before playing eight seasons of minor league ball in the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals organizations, missing two years while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. After baseball, he worked as an insurance agent.
