Biographical Information[edit]
Don Slattery served as a replacement umpire in both the National League and American League during the umpires' strike at the start of the 1979 season. Being based in New York, NY, he could work games both at Shea Stadium and Yankee Stadium, and as a result worked a total of 11 games.
