Biographical Information[edit]
Lefty Don Shaw pitched in 138 major league games from 1967 to 1972 for the New York Mets, Montreal Expos, St. Louis Cardinals, and Oakland A's. He went 14-13 with a 4.01 ERA.
He has the distinction of being the winning pitcher in the first game ever played by the Expos, on April 8, 1969, against the New York Mets at Shea Stadium.
