Don Schaffer has been a college coach.
Schaffer was assistant coach at Post University for eight years. He then became head coach of Southern Vermont College in 2007. He was 12-26 in 2009, the school's most wins in 21 years. He has also umpired high school and semipro games.
His overall record as a head coach at Southern Vermont was 59-126 in five seasons.
